Church History

FBCFI PLDT Church History 1999–2000 The outreach ministry of FBCFI Philex to Ampucao began through evangelistic visitations and Bible studies in Simpa, Samuyao, Ampucao, PLDT, Cruz, Pasiday, and Tokod, laying the foundation for what would become FBCFI PLDT Church. 2002–2003 Evangelistic concerts in Pasiday and continued house visitations led to the formation of the congregation with four adult believers and children attending Sunday School. The first worship services were held at the home of Leo and Helen Nganhayna under the leadership of Pastor Rogelio Tumitit before transferring to the PLDT Engine Room and later to the PLDT Dormitory. Outreach ministries expanded to Simpa, Tanki, Dalicno, and Samuyao, where many families came to Christ and joined the church. 2005 After the PLDT Dormitory was destroyed by fire, worship services moved to the Nganhayna Compound following the family's donation of land for a church building. 2006 Pastora Lucrecia Ebanio was appointed Pastoring Leader of FBCFI PLDT. The church expanded its outreach to Cabuyao, Tuba while continuing Bible studies and visitations throughout barangay Ampucao. 2013 Bible studies and Sunday worship services were established in Manganese and Ampucao Proper, where many families responded to the Gospel. 2015 FBCFI PLDT renewed its outreach in Samuyao, where regular Sunday worship services were established. 2016 The church extended its mission to Tangbao, Mount Purgatory, Bokod. Worship services began at the home of Jericho Guiniawan before going down to FBCFI Poodan. 2018 Bible studies started in Hartwell through the Dongpoen family and new outreaches were also established in Saddle and in Apugan which later transferred to Pula, Poblacion, Tuba. 2019 During the COVID-19 pandemic, Samuyao, Simpa and Hartwell outreaches became independent ministries to better serve their communities. 2021 Pastor Jeffrey Ebanio was appointed pastor of FBCFI PLDT. As the congregation grew, construction of the permanent church sanctuary officially began. 2025 Pastor Letty Buras assumed the pastoral leadership and faithfully continued the ministry of the church. 2026 Pastora Glaisa Cerna assumed the pastoral leadership of FBCFI PLDT. By God's grace, the church continues to grow spiritually and numerically, faithfully proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, planting churches, and advancing the Kingdom of God for His glory.
